The folks over at the Massachusetts Cultural Council put together this nice interview with me on their ArtSake blog yesterday. I hope you'll check it out.
One writer attempting to become a triple-threat (to write books, plays, and movies). And about the rest of life that happens along the way. Oh, and farming, too.
Coming Up
Curse the Darkenss, will be in the Boston Theater Marathon, May 12, at 3:00pm, at the Boston Center for the Arts.
My newest full-length play, Distant Neighbors, will be read by Boston's New Repertory Theatre, May 19, at 7:30pm, in the New Voices @ New Rep series.
I'm trying for a career in stage, page, and screen, because each medium gives me some of what I need, but not completely. I'm an active playwright, with more than 300 productions and readings of my work. My first novel was released in early 2006. As a screenwriter, I've had work optioned, but nothing has made it to the big screen yet. And this year, I'm also taking up farming (seriously), at the Pen and Pepper Farm. You can e-mail me at pat@gabridge.com.
